Kay Sherwood Deluxe Archtop Guitar – Late 40’s to Early 50’s – Sunburst Finish

This instrument was manufactured by the Kay Musical Instrument Company as a house brand for Montgomery Wards. The guitar featured here is a higher end Sherwood distinguishable by the ORANGE SUNBURST finish, bound f holes, and quality Kluson tuners. Tortoise and cream binding on the top nicely compliment the tortoise headstock. Single ply cream binding adorns the back. The top is solid spruce while the back and sides are laminated flame maple.
