1964 Vox AC-10 Twin Ten – Awesome JMI Era Vox!
Vox/JMI introduced the AC-10 Twin in 1962, pushing their low-watt model variation into a 2x10 format that added a new tonal flavor than the single speaker combos that preceded it. We like to think of it as a mini AC-30 in the sense that it incorporates a similar feature set and level of tonal variation, but without the volume that comes with the 30 watt combo.
The rich sounding EF86 preamp tube in the Vibrato Channel yields some of the most satisfying vintage Vox tone you're going to find. The original Elac speakers perform great as well. It's been lovingly maintained and had recently gone in for service to our local amp tech Stan Day, who replaced some faulty resistors and a bad volume pot. Includes the original footswitch.
