1959 Gibson L-4 – With Mini Humbucker!

Here we have an amazing 1959 Gibson L-4, from the collection of Jackson Browne guitarist Val McCallum. The guitar is in excellent shape for its age with an added George Benson mini humbucker with a volume control on the pickguard.

Materials: Carved bookmatched solid spruce top; arched maple back; solid mahogany neck; solid Brazilian rosewood fingerboard; mother of pearl parallelogram fingerboard inlay and thistle peghead inlay; 3-ply body binding, bound fingerboard, bone nut.

Hardware: Original hardware includes nickel raised parallelogram trapeze tailpiece, 5-ply wide-beveled pickguard, adjustable compensated Brazilian rosewood bridge.
