Park PMV50 Guitar Amplifier Head – A Recreation of the 1980s “800” Master Volume Amp – Groovy Amp !

Introducing the Park MV50 Head from Park Amplification ( #005 ) . This amp is a recreation of the 1980s “800” Master Volume amp used extensively for touring and recording. This new Park version has been slightly modified to offer a bypassable effects loop and an expanded tonal range. The front panel features the controls normally found on the vintage Park Master Volume amp including Gain, Master, Treble, Mid, Bass and Presence. Additions include two push-pull pots for Bright and Punch. Many people found the vintage versions of the MV amp to be too bright. In the new MV50, the brightness has been decreased but you can select that extra brightness by using the Push-Pull pot. In certain applications the vintage MV amps didn’t have enough low mids and bottom. The second Push-Pull takes care of that.

The back panel includes a Metro Zero Loss FX loop. It is a transparent active loop that can be bypassed with the back panel toggle switch. Also included are two speaker jacks and a 4, 8 and 16 ohm speaker impedance selector. The Park MV50 uses the finest components selected for tone and reliability plus transformers made in the USA a high quality welded, steel chassis and tubes also selected for tone and reliability.
