This is the real deal, vintage 1957 Les Paul Junior, a fine example of one of the most revered rock machines in guitar history. Plays and feels superb, the sunburst finish has nicely aged very light checking throughout, it plays like a dream and stays in tune very well. Everything on this guitar is original
The Gibson Les Paul Junior model started off as a entry level student guitar in 1954 and by the 1970s the Junior was in the hands of many rock and kicked the image of being a student guitar and now took on a bare bones rock and roll screamer that it's known to be today. With a solid mahogany body, one P-90 and wrap tail piece, the Jr does it all from clean to dirty. The Jr. is known for having superior resonance and sustain because of its simple design and lack of magnetism from a neck pickup that can slow the vibration of the string. The junior models from 57-58 benefit from an improved bridge position as compared to earlier models that may have leaning bridges as a result of placement/shallow bridge studs.
Don't miss out on this legendary axe that has been well taken care of and is ready to be loved and played .
