Vintage 1959 Fender Precision Bass ! Refin by Dan of Danocaster Fame & Setup/Rewire by Michael DeTemple!

This fantastic ’59 P-Bass came to us not long ago from a local customer. It was sporting; a lets say - not the best looking 20-30 yr old self done refinish in a color that is closest to that of Lake Placid Blue.. it had bad overspray and dried “paint drip” on some parts of it.. The original pickguard has a patched hole that looks to have been done pretty long ago

We had local talented guitar builder and friend of the shop; Michael DeTemple strip the blue finish and then we had it sent to Dan of Danocaster. Dan went on to give the body a really awesome looking Olympic White finish. While in paint, DeTemple finished cleaning up the neck and prepping the rewiring on the new pots on its original pickguard which also is still sporting the original pickups !

Once all the paint was dried and cured it went back to Michael DeTemple to be cleanly and properly put back together.

This thing came out fantastic with its fresh refin and setup - plays and sounds as good as it gets ! This bass does not disappoint

The only non original parts on this bass are the potentiometers and wiring,
It also will come with the original Bridge Cover Mute (no screws)
