Here's a Fender 1966 Blackface Bassman Amplifier - Owned and toured with by Grammy Award Winning Artist Shelby Lynn. Includes Road Cases (See Photos) .Recently serviced by Bob Dixon at Amphole ( See Repair Invoice in Photos). 

This was part of Shelby's main touring rig along with her '65 Blackface Deluxe Reverb.

At the 43rd Grammy Awards, held on February 21, 2001, she won the award for Best New Artist. "Thirteen years and six albums to get here," said Lynne during her acceptance speech. One of the songs, "Dreamsome", also appeared on the soundtrack of the film Bridget Jones's Diary.

Overview :

   In 1964 Fender introduced the AA864 circuit, and changed the appearance to the "Blackface" design, with black tolex covering and a black painted control panel. Fender was sold to CBS in 1965, and the AA165 circuit was briefly introduced, before being replaced by the AB165 circuit. The "Blackface" design continued until the "Silverface" model was introduced in mid 1967.
