Allen Hinds CD – The Good Fight

Here is the latest musical offering from one of our virtuoso guitar slingin' compadres.... ALLEN HINDS!  Fans of instrumental guitar music should dig  Allen's new "Fight The Good Fight" CD. A diverse collection of compositions  supported by  a stellar cast that includes : Travis Carlton (Bass), Donald Barrett (Drums), Lenny Castro (Percussion), Matt Rohde, Mike Finnegan (Keyboards), and Rich Hinman (Pedal Steel).

Allen hinds BIO

A native of Auburn, Alabama, Allen was exposed to blues and R&B at an early age. Moving into jazz and fusion in his teens, he attended Berklee College of Music and shortly after, moved to Los Angeles to attend Musician’s Institute, where he has remained on staff to the present.Allen has 5 solo c.d’s under his name with a 6th due out “The Good Fight” just as soon as the Covid is over! Also .. check out Wonderland Park c.d. “Just Get In” a joint effort with bassist and long time friend Peter Hastings. As well “Held to a Different Standard” with Brad Rabuchin.

Besides a solo career he has performed and/or recorded with jazz and R&B luminaries including Hiroshima, Randy Crawford, Gino Vannelli, Patti Austin, Roberta Flack, BeBe and CeCe Winan,  The Crusaders, Bobby Caldwell, James Ingram, Joan Baez  and many, many others.
